Opposed Blade Aluminum Thermal Break Damper


Our Opposed Blade Thermal Break Dampers carries the same dimensional design as our Standard Damper with the added benefit of a 100mm / nominal 4” thermal break air foil blade. The new blade design enables a reduction of thermal exchange on 90% of the damper’s surface while maintaining the quality and benefits of the original design. The blade is comprised of two sections of aluminum profile with PA6.6 ISO-Bar profiles joined by an automated clamping process that prevents movement, shifting, or slipping during cutting. It features the same all aluminum construction with our fiberglass reinforced nylon gearing system housed internally. No failure due to rust, corrosion, or debris accumulation. All of our dampers are made to order with short lead times. Single and multi-sectional dampers can be easily made for normal open/close operation as well as face & bypass operation.
