Frame Selection Help

Sales associates are always available to provide recommendations on selecting a frame. Having the answers ready to the following questions can help narrow your search and speed up the quotation process.

1. What is your desired wall thickness?

For 1/2" wall thickness, select our 120-10 system. This system is also available in a blunted design. There is no omega intermediate support for this system.

For 3/4" wall thickness, select our P120-18 system which is also available in a blunted design. There is no GOP omega joint for this system.

For 1 inch wall thickness, look into our 130-25, 140-25, and 150-25 systems. The 130-25 is typically used on smaller units and 150-25 on larger units. Each of these systems are also available in a blunted design.

For 1 3/4" wall thickness, select our 150-45 system. This system is also available in a blunted design.

For 2" wall thickness, select our P170-50 system which is also available in a blunted design.

2. What are the approximate external dimensions of the unit?

As the unit gets bigger, you will want to go with a larger size frame usually. The larger sized frames provide more rigidity to the structure and offer more surface area for mounting hardware.

3. How much weight is the frame going to directly support?

The heavier the components, the bigger the frame. Keep in mind that weight can be distributed using intermediate supports and stronger paneling.
